Obituary of Nora Cool

Miss Nora B. Cool 93, who was residing with her devoted niece Nora Cool-Guinup at 179 Merriman Road Stratford (Town of Salisbury), died Thursday October 11, 2007 at her home of natural causes. Miss Cool was born in Fairfield, New York on January 13, 1914 the daughter of Earl and Bessie (Everson) Cool and was educated in rural schools. She was a faithful employee of the Daniel Green Company until she retired from there in 1979. Nora was of the Methodist Faith and her affiliations included the Dolgeville Rod & Gun Club, and the Salisbury Ridge Runners Snowmobiling Club. She personally enjoyed snowmobiling, and socializing with her many friends and family. She had a special love of animals, especially her cat ?Dolly? and her dog ?Ginger?. She is survived by several Nieces and Nephews, including her devoted Niece Nora Cool-Guinup and her husband Mark with whom she resided. She was predeceased by her Brothers Howard, Eveleth, Edwin, Wendell and Royce Cool and her Sisters Arlene Radley, Louisa Mae Mowers, Bessie Poole and Marie Belcher. Her Niece Nora offers a ?Special Thank You? to Charlotte Daley for her help and care given to Nora during her illness. Funeral services will be held on Saturday October 13, 2007 at Noon from the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville. Burial will follow in the Stratford Cemetery. Calling hours are on Saturday morning from 11 AM until the time of the service. Miss Cool may be remembered with a memorial to the Stratford & Salisbury Ambulance Corps or to an Animal Shelter of one?s choice. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
