Obituary of Charlotte Fiedler

Mrs. Charlotte R. (Boggess) Fiedler, 86, of 177 Maby Rd., Mohawk, passed away on Monday morning, January 29, 2007 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica. She was born on December 24, 1920 in New London, NY daughter of the late Willard R. and Sophia A. (Zimmerman) Boggess and was educated in Camden schools. She has resided in Mohawk for the past 25 years. On November 20, 1937 she was united in marriage with Theodore R. Fiedler in North Bay, NY. She was last employed with Jones Bus Lines as a bus driver and also assisted her late son in law, Joseph Cristman, with the operation of Mt. View Memorial Gardens, town of Little Falls. She attended the Assembly of God Church, Dolgeville, and was a member of the loss chord club of Little Falls Hospital. She was a Sunday school teacher in New London and the North Bay United Methodist Church. Charlotte excelled in quilting making over 500 blankets and in her spare time enjoyed four wheeling. Above all, Charlotte loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her beloved family; a son: Robert W. Fiedler and wife Judy of New London; five daughters: Rosemary Waterman of Oneida, Barbara Cristman of Mohawk, Dorothy Nestle and husband John of Westernville, Linda Given of Mohawk and Amy Harvey and husband Rubben of Queensbury; sixteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister: Amelia Ewing and her husband Joseph; her son in law: Joseph Cristman; two grandchildren: Infant Barbara Harvey and Michelle Reed. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 4309 Acme Rd., (between Ilion and Frankfort), 894-8000 on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007 from 5-7 p.m. Her funeral will commence at 11 am on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007 from the chapel of the Enea Family Funeral Home, Ilion/Frankfort, with the Rev.
