Obituary of Ann Fogarty

Mrs. Ann Fogarty a resident of the St. Luke?s Nursing Home since September 2004 and who did reside at the Mohawk Homestead and the Country Manor prior to residing at 54 Diamond Street Little Falls, died Wednesday evening June 6, 2007 at St. Luke?s Home, New Hartford. She was born in Little Falls on September 24, 1911 the daughter of John and Anna Saldon Valasek and was educated in schools in Little Falls. Ann was employed many years ago by the Gilbert Knitting Mill and also served as a clerk for the J.C. Penny Store in Little Falls. She retired from working in 1984 as a cashier at the Indian Castle Restaurant on the New York Thruway. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church of Little Falls. She is survived by a grandson Andrew Fogarty of Albany, and her Nieces and Nephews, David Valasek of Herkimer and Cornelia Knox of Mohawk, NY. She was predeceased by her son Charles W. Fogarty Jr. on June 2, 2001 and her Brothers John Valasek and Daniel Valasek and a Sister Susan Griffith. Graveside memorial services will be held at the Mt. View Memorial Gardens Cemetery, town of Little Falls at a time and date to be announced. There are No Calling Hours
