Obituary of Beatrice Goldstein

Beatrice C. Goldstein, 70, a longtime Mohawk resident, passed away on Wednesday May 30, 2007 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, NY. She was born April 13, 1937 in Mohawk the daughter of the late Laurens & Mildred (Daivs) Talbot and was educated in West Canada schools. Her marriage to Charles A. Goldstein took place on November 12, 1954 in Northville, NY. The couple shared a blessed union of 41 years until the passing of Mr. Goldstein on August 23, 1995. Mrs. Goldstein was of the Methodist faith. A woman devoted to her family, Beatrice proved herself a loving and caring mother and grandmother. She loved all animals and birds and had a special place in her heart for her dog ?Chas?. In her leisure she enjoyed talking to all her CB friends. Survivors include her children; Charles M. Goldstein of Salisbury Center, NY, Robert Goldstein and wife Peggy of Mohawk, Michael Goldstein of Mohawk, Dan Goldstein and wife Jennifer of Little Falls, Gloria Puglese and husband William of Vero Beach, Fla., Dana Goldstein of Utica, Jean Gegler and husband Robert of Mohawk, Charlene Hester and fianc?e Mark Zysk of Little Falls, Robin Goldstein of East Herkimer, and Jenifer Goldstein of Mohawk, a brother, Fred Talbot and wife Sue of Poland, a sister, Carolyn Sweeney and husband Loren of Ilion, several grandchildren, and many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews & cousins and in-laws, Gerald Goldstein and wife Geraldine of Herkimer, and Ronald Goldstein and wife Jeanne of Mohawk, a family friend, Tim Hester of Little Falls and many CB friends. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Patti Goldstein in 1987, two brothers, Dick & John Talbot. Friends and relatives are invited to attend graveside services on Saturday June 2, 2007 at 11:00 am at Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, NY, with Reverend Theresa Grescheck, officiating. In keeping with Beatrice?s wishes there are no public calling hours. Arrangements are by the Holleran & Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer, NY.
