Inez C. Hadcox, 94, of the Palatine Nursing Home, and formerly of St. Johnsville passed away on Sunday January 21, 2007, at that facility. She was born March 13, 1912, in the Town of Danube, the daughter of the late Clark & Mae Smith and was educated in the Town of Danube. She was married to Edward Hadcox who pre-ceded her in death. For over 30 years, she was employed at the former Mohawk Valley Paper Co. in Little Falls. Mrs. Hadcox was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include 2 daughters, Betty Jane Bowman and husband Richard of Ilion, & Doris Howell of Fort Plain; a daughter-in-law, Judy Hadcox of California; nine grandsons, Richard, Steven, David Bowman; Thomas LaPorta, Jr. and wife Shane, David LaPorta & Eric LaPorta, Jeff Hadcox, Dana Hadcox, & William Hadcox; seven granddaughters, Kim Congdon, Rebecca Bowman, Kathy Pendergrass, RoseMary Glick, Anna Hadcox, Jody Forster, and Lisa Rauh; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by 2 sons, Wayne & Leland Hadcox and a son-in-law, Carl Howell. In keeping with Inez?s wishes funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
