Obituary of Julia Jusup

Mrs. Julia Jusup, 88, of Kucerak Rd., passed away on Sunday morning, Jan. 7, 2007 in the Masonic Home, Utica. She was born on Sept. 30, 1918, in Czechoslovakia , daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Slivovsky) Sadlon. On December 28, 1947, Julia was united in marriage with Josip Jusup in Manhattan. She was of the Lutheran faith. Survivors include her beloved family including her husband of 59 years: Josip of Herkimer; a daughter and son in law: Anne Kuckerak and husband John of Herkimer; a brother: Martin Sadlon of Czechoslovakia; a sister: Katherine Gessman of Rego Park, NY; a niece: Elizabeth Alfano and husband Andrew of N. Babylon, Long Island; and a nephew: Carl Gessman and wife Donna of Yonkers, NY. She was predeceased by her sister Ann. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Holleran & Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home at 7 p.m. on Tuesday following visitation with the Rev. Carl Evans, pastor of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Little Falls, officiating. Julia will be laid to rest in Holy Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Little Falls, in the spring.
