Mrs. Leokadia (Lodzia) Levonski 83 a resident of the Van Allen Nursing Home since 1996 and formerly of RD #1 Rt 29 Dolgeville, died Monday June 18, 2007 at the nursing home. She was born in Poland, on August 5, 1923 the daughter of John and Janina (Kisielewicz) Gruszecka. Her marriage to Alexander R. Levonski took place on November 25, 1945 in Germany. The couple came to the United States in December of 1953. Mr. Levonski predeceased her on March 26, 1999. Mrs. Levonski was employed by the Daniel Green Company of Dolgeville, retiring from there several years ago. She was a member of St. Joseph?s Church Dolgeville. Surviving her are her children her son and his wife Richard and Raylene Levonski of Dolgeville, her daughters and their husbands Irene and John Ashe and Janina (Jenny) and Arthur Edwards both of Dolgeville her granddaughters Charlene Roberts, Angela Ashe and a great granddaughter Jenna Raylene Bunce. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday June 21, 2007 at 11 AM in St. Joseph?s Church on Helmer Avenue Dolgeville. The Rev. Leo F. Potvin will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph?s Cemetery. Calling hours are on Thursday morning at 10 AM, at the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville.
