Patricia ?Pat? Madison, 87, of Ilion and formerly of Herkimer passed away on Sunday November 11, 2007 at St. Luke?s Hospital, New Hartford, NY. She was born April 4, 1920 in Herkimer the daughter of the late Nicholas & Philomena (Barbuto) Stagliano and was educated in Herkimer schools. Her marriage to John Madison took place on November 16, 1949 in Dolgeville. She was last employed at the former Daniel Green Shoe Company in Dolgeville. Pat was a member of Sts. Anthony & Joseph?s Church in Herkimer and a life member of the Ilion Marine Corps League Auxiliary. Survivors include her husband John of Ilion, two sisters, Lena Sgroi of Frankfort and Antoinette Stasilli of Herkimer, an uncle and aunt Giuseppe and Maria Stagliano of Herkimer, two sisters-in-law, Anna Youker of Dolgeville, and June (Jean) Ackley of Dolgeville, two brothers-in-law, James Madison and wife Dolores of Winterhaven, Florida, and Cecil Madison of Dolgeville, and several nieces , nephews & cousins. She was pre-deceased by two brothers, Joseph & Salvatore Stagliano and a sister, Mary Barberio. Funeral services will be held on Thursday November 15, 2007 at 10:00 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer, with Reverend Anthony Ligato, pastor of Sts. Anthony & Joseph Church, officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Wednesday November 14, 2007 from 4-7 pm.
