Bernice G. Misner, 85, a long time Little Falls resident, passed away on Wednesday January 24, 2007 at Valley Health Services. She was born June 6, 1921 in Little Falls, the daughter of the late Telesfor and Eva (Ruszczyk) Grzywaczewski. Bernice was a graduate Mt. Pleasant High School in Schenectady and later from Mohawk Valley Community College where she received her RN nursing degree. Her marriage to Clarence P. Misner took place on March 26, 1942 at Sacred Heart Church in Little Falls by Reverend Dobrzynski. Mr. Misner passed away on June 28, 1982. For 16 years, until her retirement in 1982, Bernice worked at Little Falls Hospital, as a RN and later as Nursing Supervisor. At one time she worked at the Folts Home in Herkimer. Mrs. Misner was a member of the former Sacred Heart Church in Little Falls. Survivors include her son, Carl Misner of Albany, her granddaughter, Dr. Tracey Krull, DVM and husband David of Fairlawn, NJ, 2 great grandchildren Ethan & Hanna Kroll, an aunt, Sophie Kaminski of Herkimer, and several cousins. She was pre-deceased by a daughter, Paula Misner on February 26, 1975. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 27, 2007 at 11:00 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY with Reverend Anthony Ligato, pastor of the Holy Family Parish officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer.
