SCHUYLER-Edwin G. ?Ed? Murray, 47, of Windfall Road, town of Schuyler, formerly of Poland, passed away after a brief illness Monday afternoon, May 7, 2007 at his home. He was born on December 19, 1959, son of Mary Bowman Murray. On October 25, 1986, he married Donna Taverne in New Hartford. Together they enjoyed a loving union of 20 years. He was previously employed by Estate Homes in Schuyler and also worked for G & I Homes in Schuyler at one time. Ed was a member of the Star Society Motorcycle Riding Club. He loved his bike and was an avid NASCAR fan. Survivors include his beloved wife Donna; his mother and father in law who were very special and close to Ed: Donald and Vergina Taverne of Clinton; his daughter Jessica; his sons: Donald and Christian; three brothers: Rick Murray and his girlfriend Lisa and daughters Jennifer and Heidi; Jon Murray and his wife Lisa and children: Mike and Bryan; and Dale Murray. He also leaves two sisters: April Bronson and husband Ronald and Wendy Mannerburg and husband Eric and their children: Heather, Courtney, Zack and William. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. Besides his mother Mary, he was predeceased by his brother: Bruce Murray and by his beloved niece: Marlana Bronson. In respecting Ed?s wishes, there are no public calling hours or funeral service. The family will gather privately to say goodbye. A memorial service will be held at a time to be announced.
