Keith B. Neff, 53, of 120 Snell Road, Fort Plain, passed away on Monday January 22, 2007 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY. He was born January 5, 1954 in Stafford Springs, Conn., son of Ellery & Mary (Whitman) Neff. Keith was a graduate of Tolland High School, Tolland, Conn. He furthered his education as a 4-year apprentice with United Technologies as a Tool & Die Maker in East Hartford, Conn. His marriage to Hideko Kanazawa took place on September 17, 1988 in Tolland, Conn. Keith was last employed at Walmart Distributions in Johnstown. Prior to his employment at Walmart, he worked on the Neff Family Farm. For 23 years, he was employed at United Technologies in Hartford, Conn. Survivors include his parents, Ellery & Mary, of Fort Plain, his wife Hideko, a daughter, Kelley Carruthers and husband Shawn of Florida, a son, Kevin E. Neff, Sr. and wife Erica of Fort Plain, three sisters, Kathleen Neff of Schenectady, Jeannine Drill and husband Steven of Reston, Virginia, & Peggy Neff of Front Royal, Virginia, three grandchildren, Joshua & Alicia Carruthers & Kevin E. Neff, Jr. and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles & in-laws. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday January 26, 2007 at 11:00 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY with Reverend Kenneth Dingman, pastor of St. Paul?s Lutheran Church, Fort Plain, NY officiating.
