Nancy L. (Service) Swank, 48, of St. Johnsville passed away on Monday July 2, 2007 at St. Mary?s Hospital, Amsterdam, NY. She was born February 27, 1959 in Little Falls, the daughter of Irma (Johnson) Corso and the late Rodney Service, Sr., and was educated in St. Johnsville schools. Her marriage to Joseph L. Swank took place in December of 2004. She was last employed at Tricot in Dolgeville. Survivors include her mother, Irma Corso of St. Johnsville, her husband, Joseph of St. Johnsville, maternal grandmother, Viola Johnson of St. Johnsville, her children, Roger Smith of St. Johnsville, Michael Smith of St. Johnsville, Jennifer Morse of Little Falls and Gregory Morse of St. Johnsville, a brother, Rodney Service, Jr., of St. Johnsville, her sisters, Robin Montana and husband Alvin of Little Falls, Michelle Maynard and husband Robert of St. Johnsville, Vicki Battisti of Gloucester, MA, and Andrea Mulcahey and husband Michael of Gloucester, MA, nine grandchildren, Mackenzie Smith, Jacob & Zachary Swank, Kristen & Abby Swank, Eryka & Emile Swank, and Cameron & Karissa Battisti, her step-children, John, Joseph, Douglas & Tracy Swank all of St. Johnsville, and many nieces, nephews & cousins. She was pre-deceased by her father Rodney Service, Sr., a sister, Candice Vose and several aunts & uncles. Funeral services will be held on Friday July 6, 2007 at 11:00 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY with Reverend David Johnson, officiating. Burial will be in West St. Johnsville Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Thursday July 5, 2007 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
