Harvey J. Brundage, Sr., 90, formerly of 61 N. Division St., St. Johnsville, passed away on Monday August 14, 2006 at St. Johnsville Nursing Home with his family by his side. He was born May 31, 1916 in Hasbrouck, NY the son of the late Charles & Bessie (Baldwin) Brundage and was educated at Center Valley country schools. His marriage to Audrey M. Hagarbone took place on May 14, 1944 at St. John?s Lutheran Church in Canajoharie. The couple shared a blessed union of 58 years until the passing of Mrs. Brundage on February 12, 2002. Harvey was employed for various paving contractors throughout the area. At one time he worked for many local area garages and prior to that he was head mechanic and bus driver for the Little Falls ? Fonda Bus Garage. Mr. Brundage was a member of the Lassellsville Methodist Church and was a former member of the Canajoharie Moose Lodge. An avid outdoorsman, Harvey enjoyed camping and hunting with his family. In his leisure he enjoyed car racing especially when his son was racing. He is survived by his children, Penelope Smith and husband Kenneth, Dawn Peruzzi and husband Robert, Harvey Brundage, Jr., and wife Ginny, Garry Brundage, and Kathy Fitzpatrick and husband Randy all of St. Johnsville, a brother, Vernoo ?Stub? Brundage and wife Maggie of St. Johnsville, a sister, Velma Flint and husband Russell of Cherry Valley, 16 grandchildren, 28 ? great grandchildren, 1 great great grandson, and several nieces, nephews & cousins. He was pre-deceased by a brother, James Brundage and a sister, Thelma Stever. In keeping with Harvey?s wishes, cremation will take place under the direction of the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
