Obituary of Isabelle Carlsen

Isabelle Beverly Carlsen, known as Beverly, passed away peacefully on July 22 in Orlando, Florida, where she had been living for a brief time. Beverly was born in Yonkers, New York, on July 12, 1937, to Benjamin and Isabelle Carlsen. Before moving to Orlando, she had lived with her son Jim and his family in Richardson, Texas. Beverly had also lived in Westport, Connecticut; Chagrin Falls, Ohio; Concord, Massachusetts; Lake Forest, Illinois; and Jacksonville, Florida. She had strong ties to the St. Johnsville area and is being laid to rest in the West St. Johnsville Cemetery, near her parents. Beverly was a loving and protective mother to her children, and later in life she supported herself as a self-trained bookkeeper. She is survived by sons James Morris and John Morris; daughter Jeanne Anderson; granddaughters Kelsey Morris, Mallory Isabelle Morris, and Skylar Morris; and cousins Alfred Maher and Gene Maher. Beverly will be deeply missed by her family and her friends, of whom she made many wherever she lived. In keeping with Beverly?s wishes, graveside services will be held on Monday July 31, 2006 at 9:00 am at West St. Johnsville Cemetery with sister Johanne McCarthy, Parish Life Director of St. Patrick?s Church officiating.
