Obituary of Josephine Costanzo

Mrs. Josephine F. Costanzo 91 of 3 Winton Lane Dolgeville; died Tuesday evening June 6, 2006 in Little Falls Hospital. She was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 20, 1914 the daughter of James and Catherine (Fierro) Fierro and moved to Utica with her family as a young girl. She attended Wetmore School in Utica. Her marriage to Anthony Costanzo took place on November 20, 1937 in Utica. Mr. Costanzo predeceased her on June 20, 1958. Josephine was employed by the Daniel Green Company of Dolgeville for over 35 years retiring from there in 1980. She was a faithful communicant of St. Joseph?s Church Dolgeville and the St. Theresa Sodality of the church, a member of the former Adirondack Senior Citizens where she enjoyed many social outings. She is survived by a Son and his wife Anthony ?Tony? and Susan Costanzo of Dolgeville a daughter and her husband Patricia and Ted Bowker of East Herkimer, a Sister Mary Fierro of Utica, her Grandchildren and their spouses Michael and Michele Bowker, Anthony and Eileen Costanzo Susan Bowker and Stephanie and Joseph Aiello, her great granddaughters Meagan and Sydney Bowker and Olivia and Alexis Costanzo, a Sister in law Patricia Costanzo of Herkimer, and three special nieces Delores and her husband Henry Borys, Kathleen Madia and Joan and her husband Philip Jones. She was predeceased by her Brothers Anthony and Louis Fierro and a Sister Angeline Pucine. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday June 10th, 2006 at 2:30 PM in St. Joseph?s Church Dolgeville. Rev. Leo F. Potvin will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Joseph?s cemetery.
