Miss Dorothy E. Curtiss 93 a resident of the Van Allen Nursing Home since April 2000, and formerly of Tucker Road Little Falls, (Spruce Lake) died Tuesday July 18, 2006 at the nursing home. Miss Curtiss was born on October 13, 1912 in Little Falls the daughter of Norman and Margaret (Walch) Curtiss and was a graduate of St. Mary?s Academy in Little Falls. She was employed for many years at the Gilbert Knitting Mill and then at the Duofold Company where she retired from. Miss Curtiss was a faithful member of the former St. Bridget?s Church in Salisbury before it closed and then became a member of St. Joseph?s Church Dolgeville. She is survived by several Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews. She was predeceased by her Sisters Harriet Buell, Marcia Coessens and Helen Tucker, and a Brother Norman Curtiss. A Prayer service will be held Saturday morning July 22, 2006 at 10:30 AM at the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home 3 Faville Avenue Dolgeville, with Father Leo F. Potvin, Pastor of St. Joseph?s Church officiating. Burial will follow in St. Bridget?s Cemetery, Salisbury. Calling hours are on Friday from 5-8 PM.
