Mrs. Thelma H. (Miller) Florian, 81, of Dockey Rd., Little Falls, (Town of Manheim), passed away on Saturday evening, April 15, 2006 in Little Falls Hospital. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 18, 1924 in Fairfield, the daughter of the late Arthur and Ruth (Wilson) Miller and was educated in Fairfield and Little Falls schools. She was married to Kurt Florian, Sr., on May 13, 1944 in Christ Lutheran Church, Little Falls. He passed away in 1982. She was last employed with Valley Telephone Exchange in Herkimer where she worked as a phone operator and was formerly employed with the H.P. Snyder Factory and the Allegro Shoe Factory. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, always putting the needs of her family before her own. Survivors include her children: Kurt H. Florian, Jr. and wife Marie of Little Falls, Russell Florian and wife Loretta of Sprakers and Cindy Berlinsky and husband David of Little Falls; a brother: Raymond Miller of Middleville; a sister: Shirley Maxwell and husband Bill of Middleville; many adored grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and an aunt: Edie Bladek of Newville. She was predeceased by her children: Sandra Lee Florian, Robert A. Florian and Keith A. Florian; two brothers: George and Ward Miller; two sisters: Bessie Maniacek and Joyce Van Core; and by her grandson: Rex A. Florian. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls on Tues., April 18, 2006 from 5-7 p.m. Her funeral and interment in Middleville Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
