Obituary of Lisa Gamberdella

Lisa J. (Lawrence) Gamberdella, age 50, of E. Monroe St., Little Falls, entered into eternal rest Saturday evening, January 21, 2006 in her home with her beloved family and friends at her side. Lisa was born in Little Falls on June 26, 1955, the daughter of the late John and Alice (Patterson) Lawrence and received her education in Little Falls schools. Her marriage to Richard Gamberdella took place on April 27, 1974, in St. Joseph's Church, Little Falls. Lisa operated "Louis Gamb's sports shop" in the city of Little Falls. She was employed by the Little Falls Pharmacy for 15 years before managing the sports shop. Lisa was a former member of the Little Falls Rotary Club, past chairman of the Little Falls Board of Assessment and past president of the Little Falls Football Boosters. She leaves her beloved family including her husband, Richard of Little Falls; two children: Amanda Gamberdella and Lucas Gamberdella and wife Erin both of Little Falls; four brothers: Donald Lawrence and wife Sue of New Mexico, Peter Lawrence of Rochester, Mark Lawrence and wife Bernadine of Little Falls, and Joseph Lawrence and wife Celeen of Canaan; her mother in-law: Stella Gamberdella of Little Falls; a brother in law: Robert "Bert" Gamberdella and wife Dorinda, two adored grandchildren: Haley and Tanner; many special aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and and her canine companion Muk Luk. Also surviving are many friends. She was predeceased by her brother: John Lawrence. In keeping with Lisa's wishes, there will be no public visitation. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a MEMORIAL Mass of Christian Burial which will commence at 11 am on Wednesday morning, January 25, 2006 from Holy Family Parish, Little Falls. The Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer. Friends are asked to consider memorial contributions to Hospice Care, Inc. The Gamberdella family would like to offer their thanks to Barb Smith and Bernadine Lawrence for their care and compassion.
