Dolores F. Gunn, 69, of 519 E. Monroe St., Little Falls, passed away on Thursday November 23, 2006 at her home with her loving family by her side. She was born May 27, 1937 in the Bronx, the daughter of the late Frank & Catherine (Falco) Sorbera, and was a graduate of Mahopac High School. In 1999 Dolores and her husband Eugene moved to the Little Falls area. Her marriage to Gene A. Gunn took place on October 14, 1956 in Mahopac, NY. This past October 14, the couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. Until her retirement in 1990, Dolores was a real estate agent manager for Active Properties in Dover Plains, NY. Mrs. Gunn was a member of the Holy Family Parish, and was along with her husband foster parents for 9 children. She was a member of the Dover Plains, VFW Ladies Auxiliary. With family as her foremost priority, Dolores proved her self a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Gene, her children, Kathy DeAngelis of Little Falls, Butch Gunn and wife Jackie of Colorado Springs, Frank Gunn and wife Christine of Mahopac, NY and Theresa McEvoy and husband Andy of Little Falls. Five grandchildren, Jason, Gunn, Joe DeAngelis, Spencer Gunn, Jordan Gunn, and Sydney Gunn, a sister, Joan Stankiewitch of New Jersey, and two nieces, Maria Elena & Angela Stankiewitch and a great nephew, Trevor Stankiewitch. Friends and relatives are invited to attend a memorial mass on Monday November 27, 2006 at 12:00 noon at the Holy Family Parish with Reverend Anthony Ligato, officiating. The family will be receiving friends and relatives at their home. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY.
