Obituary of William Hodge

William J. "Bill" Hodge, 23, of 1405 Homeland Ave., Norman, Ok., passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2006 in his residence. Bill was born on September 21, 1982, son of the late Walter M. Hodge, Jr., who passed away in 1986 and Candace (Stopera) Camello who resides in Herkimer. He graduated from Choctaw, Ok., High School, "Class of 2000" and furthered his education by attending Oklahoma State University. His last employment was with America Online in Oklahoma City as a technical support representative and was also employed by Abercrombie & Fitch Clothing. He was of the Catholic Faith. A gifted cook he loved to prepare favorite dishes. One of his favorite hobbies was watching the New York Yankees and also enjoyed listening to Frank Sinatra. He will be sadly missed by his family and also by his two canine companions, Lucky and Blue. Survivors include his mother: Candace of Herkimer; a brother: Michael Bessette and fianc? Stephanie of Ilion; his paternal grandmother: Margaret "Peg" Hodge of Little Falls; aunts and uncles: John A. Hodge of Little Falls; Karen and Robert Ehlinger of Little Falls; Barbara and Rodney Futrell of Choctaw, Ok., Kathy and Roy Kirkland of Remsen, Mary Jane and Ronald Czupryna of Vernon, Suzanne Sack of Cleveland, NY, and Kimberly and Dino LaBarbara of Westmoreland; great aunts: Helen and Bertha Hodge, both of New Jersey; many cousins and Bill's beloved girlfriend: Whitney Stuart. Besides his father Walter, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather: Walter M. Hodge, Sr.; maternal grandmother: Nancy Labeda; his maternal grandfather: Guy Camello and by his uncle: Gary Hodge. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, on Wed. Feb. 1, 2006, from 5-8 p.m. Bill's funeral will begin at 10:15 am on Thursday morning, Feb. 2, from the chapel of the funeral home where prayer will be offered and at 11 am from Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and John Streets, Little Falls. Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery where he will be laid to rest.
