Mrs. Constance "Connie" (Cornacchio) Jouben, 87, a Little Falls native, and formerly a resident of the Country Manor, entered into eternal rest on Thursday evening, Feb. 9, 2006 at the Folts Home, Herkimer. She was born on Dec. 21, 1918 in Little Falls, daughter of the late Peter and Agnes (Morlando) Cornacchio and was educated in Little Falls schools. Her marriage to Harry Jouben took place on June 7, 1941 in St. Joseph's Church, Little Falls. He passed away on November 20, 1989. Connie was the owner of Skippy's Restaurant in Little Falls for many years, owned The Clock Restaurant of Little Falls and was the owner of The Rainbow Restaurant in Herkimer. Many know and remember Connie from her many years working at Kandyland in Little Falls. Connie also cooked for various restaurants in Little Falls during her working career and was at one time employed by the former Savron Restaurant at the Little Falls Thruway Exchange. Connie was a communicant of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls. She leaves three children: Harry P. Jouben and wife Sophie of Little Falls; Earlotta Karam and husband George of Corfu, NY; and Marsha Jouben of Coral Gables Florida; two brothers: Pat Cornacchio and wife Leonilda of Winter Park, FL., and the late Michael Cornacchio and wife Sylvia of North Fort Myers, FL; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons: Dennis Jouben in 1952 and Gregory Jouben on October 17, 1991. In respecting Connie's prearranged funeral requests, there will be no public calling hours or funeral service. She will be laid to rest in Church Street Cemetery, Little Falls, in the spring at the convenience of the Jouben family. Funeral arrangements are honored and served by the Enea Family Funeral Home, Little Falls.
