Obituary of Kenneth Kelly

Mr. Kenneth G. Kelly, 75, of North Main St., Dolgeville, passed away on Monday morning, April 17, 2006 in Little Falls Hospital. He was born in Brooklyn, NY, on September 13, 1930, the son of the late George J. and Violet (Stephen) Kelly and was educated in New York City Schools. He was united in marriage with Theresa C.Widhalm on June 25, 1951 enjoying a marriage of 54 years. A proud United States Veteran, he enlisted on August 2, 1950 with the United States Navy and was honorably discharged on May 13, 1954. His last professional employment was with Perfect Finishing in Manhattan, NY. He was a Free and Accepted Mason with the 2nd Kings District. Kenneth was an accomplished photographer and was an avid outdoorsman. Survivors include his beloved family; his wife: Theresa of Dolgeville; two daughters: Theresa Goldberg and husband Daniel of Dolgeville and Colleen MacGregor of Westminster, Maryland; a son: Dennis Kelly and wife Joan of Ilion; a sister: Sharon Retty and husband Charles of Sholoa, Pa.; five grandchildren: William Morelli and wife Kotrenna, Jillian Mathis and husband Jason, Heather MacGregor, Robert MacGregor, Caitlin MacGregor; four great grandchildren: Ashlei Morelli, Anasha Morelli, Grace Mathis, and Andrew Mathis; two step-grandchildren: Shannon and Richard Bradle; many nieces, nephews, cousins and inlaws. He was predeceased by two grandchildren: Daniel and June Morelli. The family invites relatives and friends to visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Mr. Kelly's funeral service will commence at 11am on Thursday, April 20, from the chapel of the Enea Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard A. Byerly of Grace Baptist Church officiating. Procession will follow to Saratoga National Cemetery where he will be laid to rest. Full military honors will be accorded. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
