Obituary of Patricia Liddon

Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Ellen (Green) Liddon, 68, of Murphy Road, town of Manheim, entered into eternal rest on Monday morning, June 5, 2006 in the comfort of her home. When her passing occurred she had the love and support of her family at her side. She was born on October 26, 1937, in Evergreen Park, Illinois, daughter of the late Harry T. and Margaret (Good) Green and was educated in schools in Torrance, Ca., and graduated from high school in Long Beach, Ca. On December 31, 1955, Patricia married Francis H. Liddon. The couple's union began while Francis was serving with the U.S. Marines. Their relationship remained a loyal and steadfast one throughout their 50 years together. Each of them served as the perfect balance and harmonious complement to the other's attitude, personality and life. Patricia was employed as a receptionist at Little Falls Hospital and retired in 2001 after twenty eight years of dedicated service. In her spare time she enjoyed working with crafts. She was an avid knitter and enjoyed taking care of her home. More importantly, Patricia was a loving and dedicated, wife, mother, daughter and sister. She remained a dedicated confidante to her loved ones. She had a unique and personal sense of humor, one which drew people to her and one which she handed on to succeeding generations of her family. Her presence will be sadly missed among the circle of family and friends she leaves behind; her husband Francis "Frank" at home; seven children: Karen Liddon Wilson of Little Falls, Timothy Liddon of Little Falls, Margaret "Peggy" Liddon Hadcock and husband Dan of Little Falls, Donna Liddon Marsh and husband Mark of Ft. Plain, Michael Liddon and wife Tammy of Little Falls, Matthew Liddon and wife Cheryl of Little Falls, and Teresa Liddon Taylor and husband Chris of Savannah, Tenn; a sister: Michele Bright and husband Charlie of Harbor City, Ca.; eleven cherished grandchildren: Jennifer Wilson, Josh Wilson, Jessica Wilson-Battisti and husband Justin, Eric Urich, Stephanie Hadcock, Tyler Marsh, Emily Marsh, Chad Liddon, Curtis Rockwell, Matthew Liddon, and Courtney Liddon; three great grandchildren: Nathaniel Battisti, Isabelle Battisti and Samantha Wilson-Heffernan; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by a sister: Mary G. Norton and by a beloved grandson: Jeremiah Wilson. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 from 5-8 p.m. Her funeral will commence at 11 am on Thursday, June 8, from the chapel of the funeral home. Following the funeral service, procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest.
