Richard C. Mueller Jr., 39, of 37 E. North St., Ilion, formerly of Little Falls, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse. He was born on Nov. 17, 1967, in Little Falls, the son of Richard and Nechia (Lamphere) Mueller and attended Little Falls and Ilion schools. Richard was employed as an assembler at Coleco Co., Johnstown, and later at Modern Technology in Richfield Springs. He attended the Pentecostal Church. Survivors include his mother, Nechia Dieffenbacher of Little Falls; his father, Richard C. Mueller Sr. of Ilion; paternal grandmother Cecilia Brennan of Fort Pierce, Fla.; two sisters, Nancy McLaughlin of Deltona, Fla., Marguerite Dieffenbacher of Little Falls; one brother, James Dieffenbacher of Utica; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, at the Applegate & Day Funeral Home, 102 West St., Ilion, with Pastor Rodney Congdon of the Curtis Cornerstone Chapel officiating. Spring interment will be held in Stratford Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. prior to the service at the Applegate and Day Funeral Home.
