Obituary of Janet Musella
Janet A. (Waghorn) Musella, 77, of Furnace St., entered into eternal rest on Wednesday afternoon, January 18, 2006 in Little Falls Hospital with her daughter offering her love and support. Janet was born on February 21, 1928 in Herkimer the daughter of the late George and Marie (LaCelle) Waghorn and graduated from St. Francis de Sales School and the Herkimer High School, "Class of 1945." She was at one time married to Donald Musella and was a longtime Little Falls resident. She was at one time employed by the Palmer House in Herkimer and was most recently a waitress at the Italian Kitchen in Frankfort. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish and the Rosary Society. Blessed with a good soul and generous spirit, she could always be counted upon to touch the lives of others: she offered her loved ones the unquestioning support and inspiring encouragement of her loyal and affectionate heart. Her presence will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include a beloved daughter: Carolyn Musella of Little Falls; her mother in law: Congetta Musella; two sisters: Mae Werczynski of Newport and Frances Waghorn of Herkimer; a sister in law: Carol Waghorn of Herkimer; many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister: Mary Cardinal and by her brother: William Waghorn. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls on Sunday, January 22, 2006 from 3-6 p.m. Janet's funeral will commence on Monday, Jan. 23, at 10:15 am from the chapel of the funeral home where prayer will be offered by Sister Marilyn Hayes, CSJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11am on Monday from Holy Family Parish, corner of E. Main and John Streets, Little Falls with the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor, officiating. Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer, where she will be laid to rest.
