Jo Ann ?Jodi? Nellis, 58, of 590 Hardscrabble Road, Little Falls, passed away on Thursday August 3, 2006 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY. She was born September 23, 1947 in St. Johnsville the daughter of the late Howard J. ?Bucky? Nellis, Jr., and Gladys Mae Montana Nellis, and was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School, class of 1965. Jodi was last employed at Wal-Mart in Herkimer. With family as her foremost priority, Jodi proved herself a loving and caring mother and grandmother always putting their needs before hers. In her leisure she enjoyed gardening, cooking and needlework. Survivors include her fiancee, Joe Harrod of Little Falls, her daughters, Missy Butcher and husband Jim of Little Falls and Jennifer Harrod and fianc?e Peter Hill of Albany, a grandson, Jimmie Butcher of Little Falls, 2 brothers, Howard J. Nellis, III and wife Nina of St. Johnsville, and Ronald Nellis of Fort Plain, a long time friend, Mary Ratajack of Poland, NY, and two aunts, Helen Johnson and husband Donald of Dolgeville, & Ruth Polinski of St. Johnsville, and several nieces & nephews. In keeping with Jodi?s wishes funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
