Wilhelmina Rice, 71, of Johnny Cake Road, Little Falls passed away on Saturday September 30, 2006 at Little Falls Hospital. She was born April 19, 1935 in Queens, NY, the daughter of the late Harry and Minnie (Susenbock) Geisinger and was educated in Queens. Her marriage to Donald J. Rice, Sr., took place on March 5, 1973. Until her retirement in 1992, Wilhelmina worked at the Little Falls High School. Mrs. Rice was a member of the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Little Falls. With family as her foremost priority, Wilhelmina proved herself a loving and caring wife mother and grandmother. Survivors include her husband, Don, a son, Justus Rice and wife Shay of Little Falls, 3 daughters, Carolyn Volo and husband Joe of Little Falls, Wilhelmina Ingwerson of California and Maryellen Harper of Little Falls, 4 step-sons, Donald J. Rice, Jr. of Little Falls, David P. Rice of Johnstown, John B. Rice and wife Cheryl of Little Falls, and Richard J. Rice and wife Katherine of Little Falls, 10 grandchildren, and several nieces & nephews. She was pre-deceased by a son, Donald Harper. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday October 4, 2006 at 11:00 from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 w. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY with the Reverend Dr. Steven Scarcia, Rector, officiating. Burial will be in Rural Park Cemetery, Ingham Mills, NY. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Tuesday October 3, 2006 from 5-7 pm. All memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude?s Children Hospital or to the Emmanuel Episcopal Church. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
