Mary Ellen Tomei, 75, of Little Falls, wife of the late Frank Tomei, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2006, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center, Utica. Mary Ellen Tomei, 75, wife of the late Frank ?Masle? Tomei, and a long time Little Falls resident, passed away on Sunday July 16, 2006 at St. Elizabeth?s Medical Center, Utica, NY. She was born April 6, 1931 in Bloomfield, Vermont, the daughter of the late Edward G. & Henrietta H. (O?Mara) Colwell and was a graduate of St. Mary?s Academy. Mrs. Tomei was of the catholic faith. Survivors include her children, Janet Tomei of Little Falls, Elaine Enea and husband Vincent of Little Falls, Jay Tomei and wife Pamela of Fairfield, NY, Ronald Tomei of Little Falls, James Tomei and friend Helen of Secaucus, NJ and Frank Tomei and wife Candace of Fairfield, NY, 13 grandchildren, Jason, John & Michelle Tomei, Kristi & Katy Tomei, Tressa Tomei, Vincent, Elyse and Anthony Enea, Leah, Jenna, Hannah and Savannah Tomei, her sisters, Sarah Nobile and husband Louis of Mohawk, Jeanne Murphy and husband William of Little Falls, and Jeanette Clapper of Little Falls, her sisters-in-law, Mary Fennimore of Little Falls and Clara Morotti of Owego, NY and several nieces, nephews & cousins. She was pre-deceased by a sister, Sue Ann Colwell. Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 20, 2006 at 11;00 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, NY, with Reverend Daniel Lanza, officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary?s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Wednesday July 19, 2006 from 5-8 pm. All memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one?s choice.
