Obituary of Fiorello Verri

Mr. Fiorello A. "Fee" Verri, age 56, passed away unexpectedly on Friday August 11, 2006. Fee was a longtime resident of Little Falls, and had also spent many wonderful years of his life in Wyoming. He loved the beautiful nature that Wyoming had to offer. He was born on October 24, 1949, in Little Falls, a son of Gino and Geraldine (Eysaman) Verri and was educated in Little Falls schools. Fee graduated from Little Falls High School and was a New York State Regents Scholar Recipient upon graduation. He later went on to attend Mohawk Valley Community College, was a graduate of Herkimer County Community College, and attended Casper Community College in Casper, Wyoming. He was last employed with K.J. Mirman Construction Company of Akron, Ohio, where he had worked as a Construction Supervisor. Fee also dedicated many work hours as a surveyer for many New York State Road projects for several years. Fee was well known for his easy going personality and caring nature. He was an avid donor to the Herkimer County Humane Society as well as a supporter of the World Wildlife Federation. He will be dearly missed by his loving family including his mother: Geraldine of Little Falls; his cherished sons: Marc S. Verri of Little Falls and Devin G. Verri of Little Falls along with their mother who was the love of Fee's life: Jean Verri of Little Falls; one brother: Henry Verri and his wife Jane of Little Falls; his Uncle Tony Verri and his wife Barbara of Little Falls; his Aunt Aggie Pietropaoli and her husband Chuck and their daughter Marie Pietropaoli all of Little Falls; and Aunt Evelyn Oriolo of Little Falls; along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and In Laws who all held a special place in his heart. Fiorello was preceded in death by his father Gino and his brother Gene Verri. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 West Monroe Street, Little Falls on Monday August 14th from 6-9 PM. A brief prayer will follow the visitation and cremation will then take place in accordance to Fee's wishes. Those wishing are asked to consider contributions in his memory to the Herkimer County Humane Society. Envelopes are available at the Enea Family Funeral Home.
