Michael Waseleski, 58 of 87 Columbia St., Mohawk, passed away on Saturday July 29, 2006. He was born January 20, 1948 in Herkimer the son of Pauline Waseleski and the late Leo Waseleski. Mike was a graduate of Mohawk High School and also graduated from Herkimer County Community College. Until his retirement in 2003, He was employed in the Child Support Unit of Herkimer County. Mr. Waseleski was of the catholic faith and was a member of the Mohawk American Legion Post # 25. Survivors include his mother, Pauline of Mohawk, 3 sons, Michael D. Waseleski and fianc?e Danielle Lawrence of Frankfort, Jason Waseleski of Mohawk & John Waseleski of Herkimer, a daughter, Rachel Waseleski of Herkimer, 2 brothers, Leo Waseleski and wife Julie of Victor, NY and Robin Waseleski of Mohawk, 2 grandchildren, Morgan & Brady Waseleski both of Frankfort, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles & cousins. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday August 2, 2006 at 11:00 am from the Graves - Applegate & Day Funeral Home, 48 E. Main St., Mohawk, with Reverend Mark Cunningham, pastor of St. Francis de Sales Church, Herkimer, officiating. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Tuesday August 1, 2006 from 5-8 pm. All memorial contributions may be made to M.OV.A.C. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
