Obituary of Frances Adamko

Mrs. Frances J. Adamko, age 85, of State Rt. 5, passed away on Wednesday evening, November 9, 2005, in the comfort of her home surrounded by the love and support of her family. She was born in Little Falls on January 3, 1920 a daughter of the late Michael and Walerya (Aniol) Dolezek and graduated from the Little Falls High School, "Class of 1939". A lifelong area resident, she was united in marriage to Michael Adamko on June 8, 1946 in Holy Spirit Polish National Catholic Church. A blessed union of almost 60 years, theirs was one that was founded upon the love and support shared between each other which was also passed on to their family. Her last professional employment was with the former P & K Dress Factory in Little Falls. As a young woman she assisted her sisters and parents in the operation of the White Rose Bakery. She was a member of the Holy Spirit Polish National Catholic Church, Little Falls. Frances was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary D.A.V and was an avid gardener. Her most happiest moments were spent in the company of her beloved husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her husband Michael, of the home address; three daughters: Patricia Bonocora, Susan Adamko and Michelle Roe, all of California; grandchildren: Karen Mahony and husband Ryan and Michael Bonocora; a great granddaughter: Cheralyn Rose Mahony; many nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. She was predeceased by four sisters: Jennie Wnuk, Nellie Oleszek, Stella and Gertrude Dolezek, and by a son in law: Suart Roe. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, on Sunday, November 13, 2005 from 3-6 p.m. Mrs. Adamko's funeral will commence at 9:15 on Monday morning, November 14, 2005 from the chapel of the funeral home where prayer will be offered and 10 am from Holy Spirit Polish National Catholic Church, Gansevoort St., Little Falls with the Rev. Rafael Dedello, officiating. Procession will follow to Holy Spirit Polish National Catholic Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
