Hazel Aldi, 92 a long time Little Falls resident, passed away on Monday October 3, 2005 at her home. She was born February 25, 1913 in St. Johnsville, the daughter of the late Jesse & Emma (Miller) Vogel. Hazel was educated in St. Johnsville and Little Falls schools. Her marriage to Anthony J. Aldi took place on May 23, 1930 at St. Joseph's Church in Little Falls. The couple shared a blessed union of 60 years until the passing of Mr. Aldi on January 25, 1991. Hazel was last employed at the former Gilbert Knitting Mill in Little Falls. Mrs. Aldi was of the Methodist faith. Survivors include 4 daughters, Barbara Miller of Little Falls, Delores Wohlgemuth of Little Falls, Ellen LaPorta of Little Falls, & Marjorie Goutemant of Bainbridge, NY, a sister Cecelia Relyea of Holland Patent, several grandchildren, several great grandchildren & great great grandchildren, and a niece, Katy & a nephew Anthony. She is also survived by an in-law, Patricia Aldi of Herkimer. She was pre-deceased by a son Salvatore Aldi, a sister, Stella Sliter, & a brother William Vosburgh. In keeping with Hazel's wishes, funeral services will be private and held at a later date at the convenience of Hazel's daughter Barbara.
