Obituary of Phyllis Alessi

Phyllis (Hulbert) Alessi, 80, of 255 Teall Rd., Fairfield, passed away on Monday evening, August 29, 2005 in Valley Health Services, Herkimer. She was born on Feb. 14, 1925 in Soudley, England, a daughter of the late Frank and Gwen (Stephens) Hulbert and was educated at All Saint School. She married Alfred Thomas Alessi on July 15, 1944. He predeceased her in February of 1996. Phyllis was last employed as a cosmetician with Macy's Department Store in Edison, New Jersey. She was of the Episcopalian Faith. Survivors include her children: Paul Alessi of Port Angeles, Wa., and Susan Ball Roche and husband James "Jeff" of Fairfield; grandchildren: Jamie Naughton and husband John of Collierville, Tn., Chad Ball of Hornando, Ms., Sasha Alessi and wife Heidi of Seattle, Wa., great grandchildren: Tyler and Bryce Naughton and Dominic Alessi. Mrs. Alessi will be sadly missed but forever remembered by her loved ones. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a memorial service which will be held on Saturday afternoon, Sept. 3, 2005 commencing at 3 p.m. from the Trinity - St. Michael's Church, Fairfield, with the Rev. Joseph Famulare, vicar, officiating. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are in care of Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls. Donations in Mrs. Alessi's memory may be made to the Trinity Church Restoration Fund or to Hospice Care, Inc. Envelopes will be available at the church on Saturday. The family is deeply appreciative of the entire staff of Valley Health Services, Herkimer, and to Hospice Care, Inc., whose conscientious and loving care of Phyllis was offered with great respect for her dignity and for her feelings.
