Joan N. Bosch, age 48, of 243 Water St., passed away on March 7, 2005. She was born on August 20, 1956 a daughter of the late Leo Looman and Alice LaGrange of Dolgeville. On September 18, 1988 she was united in marriage with Harry Bosch. Joan possessed an outgoing personality and a good-natured manner. She always could offer a way to make someone laugh. As a devoted family woman, she was a good wife, dedicated mother and proud grandmother. She was active in the Mt. Markham School District "Touchdown Club" and enjoyed seeing the football team succeed. One of her favorite pastimes was decorating her home and she enjoyed taking care of the family pets. She touched the lives of many in West Winfield and surrounding areas and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her husband Harry Bosch of West Winfield and their son: Brett Bosch of West Winfield; two sons: Michael Dihrberg and wife Tiffany of Ilion and Jason Dihrberg of Herkimer and special friend Christina, and their father Vernon "Hap" Dihrberg; Joan's mother: Alice LaGrange of Dolgeville, a brother Poncho Looman and wife Kitty of Schuyler, her step-mother, Noreen Looman of Dolgeville; two sisters: Linda Schuman of Cobleskill and Ruth Gaetano of Dolgeville; three grandchildren: Mikaila Dihrberg, Michael Dihrberg, Jr., and Alex Dihrberg. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, inlaws and many dear friends. She was predeceased by a sister, Alice Wheelock. At Joan's request, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Enea Family Funeral Home, Main Street between Frankfort and Ilion, (894-8000). Cremation will take place at the Chenango Valley Crematory. Interment will be held privately.
