Obituary of Anna Brykailo

Anna Mae (Decker) Brykailo, 84, a lifelong Herkimer resident, passed away on Thursday morning, Sept. 15, 2005 in Folts Homes, Herkimer with her loving family by her side. Anna was born on July 2, 1921 in Herkimer the daughter of Harry and Loretta Decker. A lifelong resident, she was educated in Herkimer schools and was employed by Mohawk Data Sciences until her retirement in 1981. Anna enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends and was happiest when surrounded by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Herkimer-Little Falls. She is survived by three daughters: Sandra Estey of Frankfort, Donna Jones of Herkimer and Bonnie Yatarola also of Herkimer; a step son: Richard Frappier and wife Paula, seven grandchildren: Debbie Estey, Christine Estey, Kathleen Estey, Simone Jones, Bridget Jones, Cindy and Dan Hailston and Scott Yatarola. She is also survived by six great grandchildren: Cassandra Estey, Billy, David and Nicole DeLude, Christopher Carney and Tyler Hailston. Besides her parents, two sisters, Isabell Halpin, Vivian Adams and one brother Robert Decker and a great granddaughter Bobby Jo Jones preceded her in death. A graveside memorial service at Oak Hill Cemetery, Herkimer, will commence at 2 p.m., on Sunday, September 18, 2005 with the Rev. Wrigtson Tongue, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Herkimer-Little Falls, officiating. The family has selected the Holleran & Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer to assist them with funeral planning.
