Mrs. Frances M. (Swietlikowski) Bugaj, 81, of Little Falls, passed away on Saturday afternoon, April 16, 2005 in St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Utica. At the time of her passing, she had the comfort of her family by her side. She was born in Herkimer on November 2, 1923, a daughter of the late Joseph and Stephanie (Fietkiewicz) Swietlikowski and was a graduate of Herkimer High School. On August 3, 1946, she was united in marriage with Theodore "Ted" Bugaj, a blessed union of 58 years. Her last employment was with the former Alexander & Alexander Insurance Company in Utica where she was a secretary. She was at one time employed in the same capacity by the former Peter Whitman Insurance of Little Falls. She also was at one time a member of the Little Falls Hospital Guild. Mrs. Bugaj was a communicant of Holy Family Parish, Little Falls and a member of the church rosary society. She leaves her beloved husband: Ted of Little Falls; a son: Thomas Bugaj and wife Helen of Dewitt; a daughter: Mary Jane Oleszek and husband Ted of Jacksonville, Fl.; two brothers: Leo Swietlikowsi and wife Lud of Herkimer and Donald Swietlikowsi and wife Dolores of Palm Beach, Fl.; a sister: Eleanor Yavornitzki and husband Steve of E. Herkimer; four grandchildren: Matt and Erika Bugaj and Michael and Stephen Oleszek; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls, on Monday,(today) April 18, 2005 from 4-7 p.m. Mrs. Bugaj's funeral will commence at 10:15 am on Tuesday morning from the chapel of the funeral home where prayer will be offered by Sister Marilyn Hayes. A Mass of Christian Burial from Holy Family Parish, Little Falls will be offered by the Rev. Anthony Ligato at 11 am on Tuesday. The Rosary Society will form an honor guard. Procession will follow to St. Mary's Cemetery, town of Herkimer where she will be laid to rest.
