Bernice E. Circhirillo, 79 a long time St. Johnsville resident, passed away on Monday February 28, 2005 at the St. Johnsville Nursing Home. She was born November 9, 1925 in St. Johnsville the daughter of the late Charles & Elsie ( Cool) Walrath and was a graduate of St. Johnsville High School. She was married to Anthony Circhirillo on July 4, 1947. Mr. Circhirillo preceded her in death. Until her retirement in 1990, Mrs. Circhirillo worked at Beech-Nut in Canajoharie. She was also the Town judge of St. Johnsville for many years. Bernice was of the catholic faith. Survivors include her step-son, Anthony Circhirillo of Rochester, a step-daughter, Marlene Maida and husband Francis of Dolgeville, 4 nieces, Carol Miklic and husband Lou of St. Johnsville, Nancy Walrath of Syracuse, Joan Chester of Gilbertsville, Vicki Garrett and husband Stanley of Chittenango, & Emma Jane Blair and husband Robert of Chittenango, a nephew, Byron Walrath and wife Ann of St. Johnsville and a sister-in-law; Frances Walrath of St. Johnsville. She was pre-deceased by 2 brothers, Ivan & Kenneth Walrath. Funeral services will be held on Thursday March 3, 2005 at 2:00 pm from the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville, NY. Interment will take place in the spring at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort, NY. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Thursday March 3, 2005 from 1:00 pm until the time of the services. All memorial contributions may be made to either S.A.V.A.C. or to the Ayres Memorial Animal Shelter. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
