Irving M. Frederick, 57, of Brentwood, N.H., formerly of Ilion, died Monday, May 9, 2005, at Exeter Hospital, Exeter, N.H., after a sudden illness. He was born Aug. 20, 1947, in Ilion, the son of William and Dorothy (Pett) Frederick. Irving graduated from Mohawk High School and attended Oneonta State University. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves. On Nov. 23, 1981, he was married to Donna J. Magee. At one time he was a real estate agent and most recently he was employed as an auto insurance adjuster. He resided in Brentwood, N.H., for the past 20 years. Irving was a devoted husband, father and son, and enjoyed motorcycles and playing bridge. Survivors include his parents, William "Bill" and Dorothy Frederick of Ilion; his wife, Donna of Brentwood, N.H.; two sons, Colby Frederick of Brentwood and Edward Frederick of Massachusetts; one daughter, Courtney Frederick of Dover, N.H.; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Larry and Patricia Frederick of Charlotte, N.C. and Norman Frederick of Ilion; one sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette (Frederick) Haraskas and Daniel Haraskas of Ilion; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 13, at the Stockbridge Funeral Home, Exeter, N.H.
