Obituary of Madge Greene

Mrs. Madge B. Greene 90 of the Marsh Road Dolgeville, Town of Salisbury, widow of Richard A. Greene, died Saturday September 24, 2005 in Little Falls Hospital. She was born in Dolgeville on March 20, 1915 the daughter of the late Clarence and Lena (Haas) Brown and was a graduate of Dolgeville School. Her marriage to Richard A. Greene took place on June 20, 1936 in the Methodist Parsonage in Dolgeville, with the Rev. Leslie A. Potter officiating. Mr. Greene predeceased her on May 25, 1995. Madge was employed by the Daniel Green Company of Dolgeville for 42 years retiring from there in 1977. She was a member of the Oppenheim Senior Citizens and personally enjoyed crafts, card playing, and crocheting. She is survived by a Brother Stanley H. Brown of Orlando, Florida, A Sister Evelyn Hoyt of Clark Mills, NY, a Special niece and her husband Diane and Jim Bero of Shaftsbury, Vt., a Special Nephew and his wife Stanley and Nancy Busch of Dolgeville, Special great nieces and nephews, Michael, Peter, and Amanda of Shaftsbury, VT. And Jeffrey, Christopher and Sarah Busch of Dolgeville, a Sister in Law Mildred Greene Busch, and Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased by three Brothers Clarence, William and Carl Brown and a Sister Madeline Lane. Graveside services will be held on Saturday October 8, 2005 at 1 PM in the Mt.
