Obituary of Anna Hajczewski
Anna Hajczewski, 100, Fort Plain recently passed away on Tuesday December 13, 2005, at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, NY. She was born on December 18, 1904 in Myjava, Czechoslovakia and was the daughter of the late Stefan and Kristina (Czernacek) Svitek. She came to America in 1920 and worked at Reaney's Mill in St. Johnsville. She married John Hajczewski on February 9, 1925 and lived for 77 years on the family farm on River Road, Fort Plain, and was a life-long member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, St. Johnsville. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anna Lila Klemme and Donald W. Klemme of Fort Plain; her grandchildren, Donald W. Klemme II and Susan C. Biltucci and her husband, Anthony, all of Fort Plain; and Jon A. Klemme and wife MaryLou of Spearman, Texas. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Anthony and Amanda Biltucci of Fort Plain; Jonathan Klemme of Spearman, Texas, and Megan Klemme of Palatine Bridge; step-grandchildren, Estella Hajczewski and Thomas Hajczewski and wife Lori all of Fort Plain; Step-great grandchildren, Mark and Stayce Hajczewski and David and Kristine Hajczewski all of Fort Plain; step- great great grandchildren, Casey Hajczewski, John Hajczewski and Riley Hajczewski all of Fort Plain, and Annalice and Cadence Barrett of Spearman, Texas; and several nieces & nephews in Slovakia. She was pre-deceased by her husband, John; step-son, John Hajczewski, Jr.; daughter-in-law, Blanche Hajczewski and step-grandsons, John Hajczewski, III and Donald Hajczewski and her brother, Stefan Svitek. Friends and relatives may call at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 9 Center St., St. Johnsville on Friday December 16, 2005 from 4-8 pm. and to attend the funeral services on Saturday December 17, 2005 at 2:00 pm at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in St. Johnsville, with Reverend David Plank and Deacon James Luckner officiating. Spring burial will be in West St. Johnsville Cemetery.
