Obituary of Susie Juliano

Mrs. Susie M. (Puleo) Juliano, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 5, 2005 in the Palms West Hospital, Florida. Susie had been residing with her children in Palm Beach for the past several years. She was born in Utica, the daughter of the late Michael and Domenica (Sciortino) Puleo and was educated in local schools. Susie was married to Frank Juliano in Utica on April 11, 1942 at St. Anthony's Church. He passed away in 1982. The couple's union was characterized by their compatibility and deep devotion for one another. Together they owned and operated Juliano's Fruit and Vegetable Farm in Frankfort on the "Old 5s" for over 40 years where they also raised their children. She was a dedicated homemaker always taking good care of her family. Susie is survived by her loving children, Antoinette Juliano, Frank Juliano (Barbara), and Donna Recchio (Lou) all of Florida; grandchildren, Frank Juliano (Audrey), Gina Ciaccia, Lisa Juliano, Ori Spado (Christa), Anthony Spado, Christopher Recchio (Jonna), and Joseph Recchio; great grandchildren, Marty, Alyssa, Anthony, Frankie, Coral, Gianna, Bianca, Antonia, Corinne, Joey, Giovanni, and #12 on the way; sister, Martha Diliberto (Sam) of Frankfort, NY; and many more cherished family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; two beloved grandsons, Michael and David Recchio; three brothers, Philip, Salvatore, and Vincent; and two sisters, Anna and Mary. The family will be present in the Enea Family Funeral Home, Main Street between Frankfort and Ilion, (894-8000) to receive relatives and friends on Thursday evening, July 14, 2005 from 6 -8 p.m. Mrs. Juliano's funeral will commence at 8:15 am on Friday morn, July 15, from the chapel of the funeral home where prayer will be offered and at 9 am from Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church, Frankfort where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Alfred Lamanna, pastor emeritus. Funeral procession will follow to All Souls' Chapel (Mt. Olivet Cemetery), Frankfort, where a committal service will be held. Susie considered her family to be her first and most important priority. She was able to achieve great success as a parent and grandparent, envisioning and creating for her family a life filled with love, joy and the wisdom of her guidance. She was very outgoing and was truly "one in a million" and just fun to be around. A truly loving and lovable woman, Susie welcomed people into her life.
