Albert "Al" R. Keeler, age 34, of 439 Tulip Drive, Ilion, died on Saturday, March 19, 2005. He was born on July 28, 1970 in Ilion, the son of Roger and Millie (Newman) Keeler, and attended Mohawk and Ilion schools. On August 19, 1995, he was married to Michele L. Stine in Herkimer. Al was employed as a driver at Tri-Valley Beverage Co., Westmoreland, NY, for the past eight years. He was a member of the Ilion Fish & Game Club. Al enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Survivors include his wife, Michele; his stepdaughter, Samantha Reid; his stepson, Jesse Perrone; his mother and stepfather, Millie and Edward Elmandorf of Ilion; maternal grandparents, Carl and Mary Newman of Herkimer; four sisters, Sue Keeler, Jaime Martin, Mary Martin, all of Ilion, Michelle Keeler of Poland; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Roger and Vicky Keeler of Poland, and Bob Hall of Ilion; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; his mother-in-law, Vivian McGraw of Mohawk; sister-in-law, Kristine Annese and her fiance, Ryan Koster, and brother-in-law, Richard Stine, all of Frankfort. He was predeceased by his father, Roger; and his paternal grandparents, Albert and Shirley (Nichols) Keeler. Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Tuesday, March 22, 2005, at 7:00 p.m. at the Applegate & Day Funeral Home, 102 West St., Ilion, with Pastor Jack Cogar officiating. Spring interment will be in Litchfield Cemetery. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
