Obituary of Theodore Koski

Mr. Theodore "Ted" Koski, 77, of Oxford Rd., passed away on Wednesday morning, July 13, 2005 in Faxton/St. Luke's Healthcare, New Hartford. He was born on December 3, 1927 in Little Falls, son of the late Michael and Victoria (Wind) Koski and graduated from Little Falls High School. He received a degree in engineering from Clarkson University, Potsdam. On January 8, 1940, Ted entered into active military service with the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in November of 1947 holding the rank of electricians technician's mate, second class. His marriage to Virginia "Ginnie" Lawrence took place in 1948. Throughout their union, Ted and Ginnie shared their lives and also a deep love and a true respect for one another. He was last employed by General Electric retiring as manager after 35 years of loyal and dedicated service. Survivors include his beloved wife: Ginnie, at home; a sister: Louisa Collier of Fulton; a daughter in law: Roberta Kendall of Ohio and Rosanne Kirsch or NC who was like a daughter to Ted; two step grandchildren: Kristina Morrison and David Morrison; a niece: Sandra Sacher and husband Art of New Jersey; a nephew: John Collier and wife Linda of Floria; two cousins: Mayor Ted Wind and Helen Wind both of Little Falls; inlaws: Carol and Doug Jones of Utica, Shirley and Don Moschetto of Florida, many of Ginnie's nieces and nephews including: Richard and Ann Moschetto of Ilion and Deborah Schoomaker of Ma. Ted was predeceased by his two beloved children: Kevin and Craig. The Koskie family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, 24 W. Monroe St., Little Falls on Friday, July 15, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. Ted's funeral will commence at 11 am on Sat. morning, July 16, from the chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Wrigtson Tongue, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, Herkimer/Little Falls, officiating. Procession will follow to Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, where he will be laid to rest.
