Obituary of Carl Miller
Carl M. "Carlos" Miller, 50, of First Ave., Ext., Frankfort, passed away unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, May 6, 2005 of an apparent heart attack. He was born on March 22, 1955 in Syracuse a son of Kenneth Miller of Schuyler and the late Theresa (Internicola) Miller. He was educated in the Frankfort-Schuyler school district and graduated with the Frankfort High School, "Class of 1973". On July 26, 1981, he joined hands in marriage with the former Claudia Eberle in St. Mary's Church, Frankfort, with the Rev. Alfred Lamanna, officiating. The couple celebrated 23 years of marriage last July. He was an employee of Remington Arms, Ilion, serving the company with 23 years of faithful and conscientious service. Carlos was of the Catholic Faith. Predeceased relatives include his mother, Theresa who passed away in 1968 and his step-brother, Bob Conley who passed away in 1998 and his father in law who passed away in 1983. Survivors include his beloved wife, Claudia of the home address; his father and step mother: Kenneth and Esther Miller of Schuyler; a mother in law, Peg Eberle of Ilion; two brothers: William and Joseph Miller both of Florida; a brother in law: Thomas Eberle and wife Heather of Ilion and a sister in law: JoAnne Falcone and husband Santo of Frankfort; step-brothers: Daniel Conley and wife Marilyn of Newport, David Conley and wife Cherie of Rome and Mark Conley and wife Anna of Herkimer; step sisters: Patricia Lindsay and husband Ed of Schuyler and Kathy Conley of Ilion; nephews and nieces: James Falcone who was Carlos' godson, Christine Falcone, Jonathan Eberle and Abigail Eberle; many step nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins including George Bianchi and Chuck Amendolare who were very special to Carlos. Also surviving are many good friends including Vivian Falcone and Mary Johnson. In his spare time he enjoyed being outdoors, camping and especially enjoyed playing shuffle board. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Enea Family Funeral Home, Main St. between Frankfort and Ilion on Sunday, May 8, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. Carlos' funeral will commence at 12 noon on Monday, May 9, from the chapel of the Enea Family Funeral Home, Frankfort/Ilion, with the Rev. Alfred Lamanna, pastor emeritus, officiating. Procession will follow to Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Frankfort, where he will be laid to rest in the family plot.
