Louise Moretti, 95 a long time Herkimer resident, passed away on Thursday August 4, 2005 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Utica, NY. She was born May 30, 1910 in Utica the daughter of the late Tony & Mary Picolino and was educated in Utica schools. She was married to the late Louis Moretti who passed in 1979. Louise was the former owner of the Herkimer County Barber and Beauty Supply that is located at 116 N. Main St. in Herkimer. Mrs. Moretti was a member of the Church of Sts. Anthony & Joseph in Herkimer. Survivors include her two sons, Louis Moretti of Chicago & Albert Moretti and wife Patricia of Herkimer, a sister, Rachael Cicero of Utica, her grandson, Albert l. Moretti and wife Christina, and two great grandchildren, Nathen & Rachael, and several nieces, nephews & cousins. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Maria Moretti. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 6, 2005 at 9:15 am from the Holleran & Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer, NY and at 10:00 am from the Church of Sts. Anthony & Joseph where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend Anthony Ligato, pastor. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer, NY.
