Obituary of Clyde Mosher
Clyde W. Mosher, 52, of Fuller Rd., town of Salisbury, passed away peacefully on Wednesday evening, June 8, 2005 at the Abraham House, Utica with the support of his family at his side. He was born on February 8, 1953 in Fairfield, a son of the late Frank and Ruth (Looman) Mosher and was educated in Oppenheim schools. His marriage with his beloved Paula (Savage) took place on June 22, 1974 in Dolgeville. For many years, Clyde was the owner and operator of "Clyde by Knight Heating" which he operated from his home. He derived great pleasure from the service he performed to the homes and business's in Dolgeville and surrounding areas. Clyde was a loving husband, devoted father and a proud grandfather. He was a true friend to his family: both in trusting and trustworthy, he was ever helpful in the best interests of his loved ones and always gave attentive concern. Survivors include his beloved wife: Paula at home; a son: Lance W. Mosher at home; three daughters: Jody M. Lamphere and husband Robert of Newport, Shawna L. Williams and husband Steven of Newport and Lacy J. Mosher and fiance Eric Neff of Salisbury; two cherished grandchildren: Chloe Williams and Kayden Lamphere, five brothers: Brayton Mosher and wife Mildred of Little Falls, Milford Mosher of Rome, Glen Mosher and wife Lynda of Little Falls, Ronnie Mosher of Little Falls, Bernard Mosher and wife Barbara of Little Falls; four sisters: Carol Helbert of Gray, Ann Nestle of Gray, Lena Baumes and husband Clayton of Dolgeville, Maude Cheney and special friend Lee Barnes of Salisbury; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family invites relatives and friends to visitation at the Roberts & Enea Family Funeral Home, 3 E. Faville Ave., Dolgeville on Sunday evening, June 12, 2005 from 5-8 p.m. Clyde's funeral will commence at 11 am on Monday morning, June 13, from the funeral home with the Rev. Rodney Congdon of the Williams Memorial Church, officiating. Funeral procession will follow to Rural Park Cemetery, Inghams Mills, where he will be laid to rest in the family plot. In lieu of floral offerings, kindly consider honoring Clyde's memory with a contribution to the Abraham House, 1203 Kemble St., Utica, NY 13501.
