Ruth C. Murray, 69 a life long Dolgeville resident, passed away on Saturday January 8, 2005 at Valley Health Services, Herkimer, NY. She was born May 3, 1935 in Oppenheim the daughter of the late Arlington & Esther (Putman) Alkinburgh, and was a graduate of Oppenheim ? Ephratah High School, class of 1953. Her marriage to Michael ?Mike? Murray took place on August 8, 1968 in Dolgeville. Mrs. Murray was last employed at the former Daniel Green Shoe Company in Dolgeville. Ruth was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Mike, 2 sons; Scott DeNinno Sr., and wife Nan of St. Johnsville, & Randy DeNinno and wife Sue of Herkimer, a brother; David Alkinburgh of Richfield Springs, 4 grandchildren; Scott DeNinno, Jr. and wife Rebecca of Oppenheim, Jodi Familo and husband Steve of DeMoines, Iowa, Rudy DeNinno of Herkimer, and Tyler DeNinno of Herkimer, 2 great grandchildren; Alex Nethaway of Johnstown & Jeremiah DeNinno of Oppenheim, and several nieces, nephews & in-laws. She was pre-deceased by a brother LeRoy ?Mike? Alkinburgh. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday January 11, 2005 at 8:00 pm from the Roberts ? Buck Funeral Home, 3 Faville Ave., Dolgeville, NY. Spring interment will be in St. Joseph?s Cemetery, Dolgeville, NY. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Tuesday January 11, 2005 from 5 pm until the time of the services.
