Mrs. Emilie J. Nicolette, 67, of 277 Watkins Road, Frankfort (Town of Schuyler) passed away on Wednesday morning April 20, 2005 at her home with her loving family at her side. She was born on Dec. 6, 1937, in Mohawk, a daughter of Harold and Bridget (Skowron) Murdock and was educated in Frankfort schools. She joined in marriage with Vincent J. Nicolette on June 7, 1958, at the Frankfort United Methodist Church. Mr. and Mrs Nicolette shared many wonderful years together. She was a member of the East Schuyler Methodist Church and found great pleasure in creating and distributing lawn ornaments along with gardening. She is survived by her beloved husband, Vincent J. "Babe"; her mother, Bridget Murdock of Schuyler; two sons, Timothy Nicolette and his wife Denise of Chenango Forks, N.Y., and Joseph Nicolette and his special friend Nicole Duong of Marcy, N.Y.; one sister, Judy Gillette and her husband David of Schuyler; three brothers, Stanley Murdock and wife Beverly of Schuyler; Ronald Murdock and wife Christine of Schuyler and William Murdock and wife Emily of Utica; along with many special and close nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. She was predeceased by her father Harold Murdock. Funeral services will be held on Saturday morning, April 23, at 10 a.m. from the Enea Family Funeral Home, Main Street between Frankfort and Ilion, with the Rev. Roger Klossner officiating. Interment will follow at East Schuyler Cemetery.
