Obituary of Beverly Noonan

Beverly J. (Nichols) Noonan, age 70, of the Folts Homes, Herkimer and formerly of the Galinsky Apartments, 105 Protection Ave., passed away Monday morning, July 11, 2005 at the nursing home. Beverly was born on March 8, 1935 in Salisbury, NY, a daughter of the late Charles and Angie (Pockette) Nichols. She was educated in area schools. She was at one time married to John B. Noonan. He predeceased her. Ms. Noonan was of the Catholic faith and was a parishioner of Sts. Anthony and St. Joseph Church. She was last employed with Valley Health Services, formerly Herkimer Hospital as a housekeeper for thirty years. Beverly enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also liked crossword books, going out to eat, and shopping. She is survived by her loving children Bernard Noonan of Dolgeville and Penny Reel of Ilion; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Shirley and George Sweet of Mohawk, Gloria and John Joyce of Frankfort, and Therese Carman of Mohawk; sixteen grandchildren, Rebecca, Angie, Jamie, Jason, Elizabeth, Michael, Courtney, Christopher, Donald, Susan, Brittany, Adam, Nancy, Kayla, Mark, John; fourteen great-grandchildren, Shelby, Kassi, Cheyanne, Sabrina, Alexandria, Shawn, Michael Jr., Robert, Brianna, Blake, Dillon, Trenton, Trista, and John IV; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Walter Nichols, Sr. and sister, Geraldine Augustus. Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Holleran & Enea Family Funeral Home, 220 N. Washington St., Herkimer on Wed., July 13, 2005 from 6-8 p.m. Following calling hours, there will be a prayer service offered for family and friends. Graveside services will commence on Mon., July 18, 2005 at 2 pm in Salisbury Rural Cemetery, Salisbury, NY with the Rev. Anthony Ligato, pastor officiating.
