Obituary of Rose Putch

Rose M. Putch, 71 a long time Frankfort resident, passed away on Friday October 7, 2005 at her winter home in Dunnellon, Florida with her loving family by her side. She was born November 29, 1933 in Frankfort the daughter of the late Joseph & Josephine (Loiacono) Cushman, and was a graduate of Frankfort High School. Her marriage to Joseph J. Putch, Jr. took place on April 11, 1953 at St. Mary's Church in Frankfort. Rose was last employed at the former General Electric on French Road in Utica. Mrs. Putch was a member of the Our Lady Queen of Apostle Church in Frankfort. She was also a member of the Ilion Moose Lodge, Ladies Auxiliary and the Upstate New York Club in Florida. Rose was a dedicated woman whose strong commitment to her family proved herself as a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Survivors include her loving husband of 52 years, Joseph, Jr., her beloved children, Judyann Carter and her husband Timothy of West Palm Beach, Florida, Joseph Putch, III and his wife Kathy of Fort Myers, Florida, & Michael Putch and his wife Karen of Tallahassee, Florida, 9 cherished grandchildren, 2 cherished great grandchildren, a sister-in-law, Marie Sanita and her husband Leonard of Frankfort, several nieces & nephews, and her devoted puppy, Pepe. Funeral services will be held on Friday October 14, 2005 at 9:15 am from the Enea Family Funeral Home, Main Street (between Frankfort & Ilion), and at 10:00 am from Our Lady Queen of Apostle Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Reverend John Yanas, Pastor. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery Frankfort. Friends and relatives may call at the funeral home on Thursday October 13, 2005 from 5-8 pm.
